On March 23rd, under the witness of Xu Changming, Vice President of the State Information Center(SIC) and Zhang Yuesai, General Manager of GAC Motor, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between the SIC and GAC Motor was held in Guangzhou. Liu Ming, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Informatization and Industry Development, SIC and Jin Yefeng, Deputy General Manager of GAC Motor, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

Xu Changming said that the strategic cooperation agreement reached by the SIC and GAC Motor is of great significance for both parties to work together for mutual benefit. On the one hand, GAC Motor dedicates itself to a high-end route with the independent brands leading in quality, performance, appearance and price. However, GAC Motor still needs to further enhance capabilities and deepen studies to keep up with the pace of the “new four modernizations for automobile industry”, so as to maintain and improve its competitiveness. On the other hand, committed to the national level high-end think tank building, SIC now leads the automobile research with its superiority and characteristics in automotive research methods, databases, and resource networks,. It boasts with a high-level research team of more than 120 researchers,, which shall provide decision references, technical support and suggestions on development thoughts for GAC Motor to looking for new successes.

Zhang Yuesai said that the strategic cooperation agreement between both parties will be a new milestone for GAC Motors cooperation with the national-level think tank. Undoubtedly, the cooperation will lay the foundation for GAC Motors resource centralization and targeted allocation. Deepened studies on product demand analysis, brand power, and customer demand analysis will boost the integrated development of research, production and sales in GAC Motor, and facilitate the company to accelerate its development with further goals. Facing the new waves of the automobile industry, both parties shall work together to help Chinese brand vehicles keep abreast with the trends of the "new four modernizations", and contribute to the high-quality growth of Chinas automobile industry.
