SIC held a signing ceremony of strategic cooperation framework agreement with iFLYTEK Co., Ltd. on the afternoon of March 29th, 2024. Xu Qiang, President of SIC and Liu Qingfeng, Chairman of iFLYTEK attended. On behalf of the two parties, Shan Zhiguang, Director-General of Informatization and Industry Development and Wang Bo, Vice President of iFLYTEK signed the agreement.

According to the agreement, based on the principle of cooperation, resource sharing and complemantary advantages, the two parties will integrate respective superiorities and carry out comprehensive cooperation on planning consultation, project application, industrial research and publicity to actively promote innovation and development of AI technology and application.

President Xu Qiang fully recognized iFLYTEK’s technological innovation and product application in automatic speech recognition, and emphasized the importance of strategic cooperation between the two parties. He said that SIC has conducted many prospective studies on aspects of smart city, digital economy, e-government, digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, block chain, intelligent industry, future-oriented industry, data factor and green industry. By centering on the national strategy and  industry ecology of digital economy,. Xu hoped both parties will take the strategic cooperation as an opportunity to fully leverage their comparative advantages and promote the integration of technology and industry innovation of artificial intelligence so as to contribute to the development of new quality productive forces.

Chairman Liu Qingfeng introduced the history and technology innovation of iFLYTEK and the development of Spark cognitive big model. He said that iFLYTEK will take this opportunity of cooperation to give full play to its accumulation of technology and experiences, and mutually promote research on big model evaluation system and big model application scenarios by focusing on technology and innovation of big model, accelerating the healthy development of the industry and digital transformation of economy and society.
