A delegation consisted of telecommunication ministers from African countries recently visited SIC. The delegation included Mr. Nizar Ben NÉJI, Minister of Communication and Technology of Tunis, Ms. Rose Pola PRICEMOU, Ministry of Post, Telecommunication and Digital Economy of Guinea, Mr. Augustin KIBASSA MALIBA, Minister of Communications of Congo, Mr. Chris BARYOMUNSI, Minister of ICT and National Guidance of Uganda, Mr. Mohamed Adam MOALIM, Minister of Communication and Technology of Somalia, Sekou KROMAH, Minister of Posts and Telecommunications of Liberia, and also directors from ministries, and embassy officials to China.
Wu Wenhua, Vice President of SIC extended warm welcome to the delegation. He said that digital economy cooperation, which has enriched contents, is a key component of Sino-African pragmatic cooperation, especially in the cooperation of digital infrastructure, which will fill the gap of digital divide in Africa and empower the digital transformation.
Staff from Public Technology Service Department introduced the construction and application of National E-Government Network and National Data Exchange and Sharing Platform. Delegation members expressed their willingness to learn SIC's experiences in e-government building, and enhance the exchange and cooperation in the field of e-government.
