Dr. Chad P. Bown, Chief Economist of U.S. Department of State and the delegation recently visited SIC. Xu Qiang, President of SIC presided over the meeting. Zhang Yuxian, Director-General and Niu Li, Deputy Director-General of Economic Forecasting Department attended. The two sides discussed and exchanged views on topics such as China’s macroeconomic situation, the promotion of new quality productive forces and the restructuring of global supply and industrial chains.

Kari Heerman, Senior Consultant of U.S. Department of State, Colin Guest, Minister Counselor for Economic Affairs of the U.S. Embassy in China, Lewis Grow, First Secretary, Dan Monson, Second Secretary and Yu Xiangbing, Economist accompanied the visit. Staffs from Economic Forecasting Department and Comprehensive Management Department of SIC attended the meeting.
